This family lived lived in Okehampton and Crediton areas. Son Henry moved to Poplar, Middlesex where he married Catherine Ann WATTS. There were 2 Thomas's born in Sampford Courtnay about the same time (1764 and 1769) and then 2 marriages (Thomas and Elizabeth WARREN in 1790 and Thomas and Elizabeth WESTAWAY in 1796). The church baptism records for this time only gives parents first names, so although the children baptised between 1790 and 1795 are probably Elizabeth WARREN's children, after 1796 there is no way of knowing which couple.

Son John moved to Torquay. John could be the brother of George as both were born in Samford Courtney and John's son George was lodging with George and Jane in 1851. Son Walter married Ann Ballamy with 2 known children baptised together suggesting they were twins. In 1841 he is living with Dinah Herd and her son Ezekiel. In 1851 and later records Ezekiel takes Walter's surname and is recorded as his son. Ezekiel's baptism is recorded with "s/o Dinah HURD, Married Woman.
