The initial migration from Europe to the USA occurred into New England and then to Mideast. Expansion of the USA then continued West and South. I have chosen a 8-region geographic division and recorded families in the region where there are significant traces in historical records.

My research has been concentrated on Britain and Canada, so most of the famiiles documented in the USA emigrated from these areas in the latter half of the 19th century or early 20th century.
