William Booth ESTABROOK published the Genealogy of the ESTABROOK FAMILY containing the history of this family. It gives Richard's father as John (1732-18xx) and his wife (d1819) both buried in the Friend cemetary at Halbathick near Liskeard. It lists Richard's siblings as Elizabeth, Jane, Thomas, and Ann. I have not included this into my trees as I have not verified it from independent sources.
Son Richard emigrated with his family to North America, firstly to Quebec and then to New Jersey and finally New York where he set up the Esterbrook Steel Pen Manufacturing Company.
