Henry Joseph Joseph and Isabella lived in Hamilton, Lanark until about 1888 when they emigrated to the USA.

An family account gives Henry Joseph's place of birth as Plymouth, Devon but this is doubtful.

They are recorded in Alabama, New Mexico, and many of the family finally settle in Salt Lake City, Utah.
