Observations: EASTERBROOK, Allcard & Co. of London are missing from the 1891 Oct directory, but re-appear in 1896 in Sheffield only.

Observations: EASTERBROOK, Allcard & Co. have re-appeared in the London directory but the address is one digit different, they are also present in later Sheffield directories suggesting they had premises in both London and Sheffield at this time.

Observations: This directory changed the way the names were presented. Previously the surname was in full on the first line, and "do." on subsequent lines of the same name on the same page, whereas this directory had the first occurance in bold capitals and subsequent normal text. Also, Mrs. A. M. became A. M. Mrs. resulting in a change of order.

Observations: This is the last directory before the outbreak of War: Britain declared war on Germany on the 4th August 1914. There is one less Easterbrook since the last directory.
