My mother's female line includes the Munden family originally from Ilminster, Somerset. My mother's grandmother was Annie Jemima Munden whose brother was Frederick William Munden [b. 1858 Newington] who married [1885 Greenwich] Fanny Caroline Order [b.about 1865 Deptford]. I would be interested in any information we could share on this line.

My great great grandfather Robert Howell married Mary Ann Easterbrook (b~1836)in 1862 Parish of St. Paul, Devonport, Devon, England. I have a "In memory of" card with Susan Easterbrook died 1872 and Joseph Easterbrook died 1877 Okehampton, Devon. Would like to know if these were Mary Ann's parents or how they are related.

I am researching this family name for my friend Jill Scarborow (nee Easterbrook) who is descended from James Easterbrook and Joan Tolchard via Nicholas Easterbrook and Daniel Easterbrook who went to Wolverhamtpn and Yorkshire ending up in London. I would love to hear from anyone else who has connections with this line - espacially family stories to trade!

At the start of the second world war, my mum and her brother were evacuated to Salcombe in Devon where they stayed with a distant relation called Mary Easterbrook. This would have been her married name, and she was middle aged at that time. She had 2 sons who were professional golfers (Ryder Cup, we think). One of them was called George Eaterbrook. We're trying to work out our connection to the Easterbrook family. Can anyone help? Thank you

  Hi,
Thanks for this website, have found my great-grandparents on it I believe - Mary Easterbrook & Henry James Lyons. (Part of Family 29) Interesting to know that Mary's brother Edward also emigrated to Australia.

Happy to provide more details.

Mary & Henry went on to have 13 children, (many of whom seem to have died in childhood) and until recently I believed that my grandfather - James Easterbrook Lyons, was the only one to marry and have children. Thanks to another website I have found out about his two brothers who also came here.

James married twice, his second wife was my grandmother (Annie Ethel Williams)and they had 4 children - Gordon Easterbrook Lyons, Alison Letty Lyons, James Edward Lyons, and a daughter Jane, who died in childhood.

I have a family tree of the descendants of John Gray of Dalkeith dated 1910, that includes 2 marriages to Easerbrooks, probably in the mid 1800s. Nina Lottie Jane Easterbrook married Thomas Anderson Herdman and Thomas's niece Anne Elliot Herdman married Charles Cromwell Easterbrook M.D. They had two children Ellen Annie Easterbrook and Sidney Arthur Frank Easterbrook. Does anyone else have any of these names?

I was thrilled to bits to find this website even though I cannot find any names that are common with my Easterbrook ancestors. I know if you go back far enough that we are all related!. My Easterbrook's as far as I know going back start with a Nicholas Easterbrook (Chr 8 Aug 1802)from St Just who was married to Maria Richards(6 Jul 1824) they had a very big family Nicholas, William, John,Maria, Mary Ann, Elizabeth, Margaretta, James, Lucy and Ellen that I know of. I could write a load more but if anyone recognizes this family I would love to share more. One final note to the website owner my brother is called Mark and his middle name is Easterbrook to keep the family name!

Hi, my father was George William Easterbrook, my granfather was Henry (Harry) Easterbrook born 29/7/ 1881 in Bickleigh Plymton. His father was Alfred Easterbrook born 10/6/1852 in South Brent Totnes. They both came to New Zealand and to Whareora near Whangarei. I couldn't find any Easterbrooks from that line on your sight. Any ideas?

I am also directly descended from Elias William Easterbrook via his son William Walter. I had traced back to Thomas & Anne Elliott, but you have saved me a lot of time & money looking for Thomas's birth record in Crabtree!
Thank you.
I have three grandsons to hopefully continue the line on into the future.
Let me know if I can help.

Reside in Cleveland, Ohio Born 11-1-1954
I am 1 of 5 children born to Leonard J.Easterbrook (all from Cleveland,Ohio) I never met my fathers Dad he divorced my grandmother when my father was about 7 years old. It has been mentioned (unconfirmed) that somehow we are linked to Mary Queen of Scotts. I apologize if my lineage reference is skewed. There is much more mystery (unknown) about our family history as a result of the broken marraige and upbringing that resulted within the immediate family. I am interested in finding out as much as I can about the Name & links to it. If there is something I can help / assist you with please advise me. I wouldn't know where to start.

Regards, Robert Easterbrook
