George EASTERBROOK and Sarah of Lambeth and Surrey

John Thomas EASTERBROOK (1826-1870), Grocer, born in Middlesex then moved to Lambeth, then Surrey where he died. His wife Eliza FROST (1830-1906) was born in Bristol. Their children were all born in Surrey.

The next 2 generations, of which I only have a single line, were born and lived in Stepney. George and Mary's children, Mary, James, and Harry, were all born in Deptford.

I have only found a marriage and children for Harry George.

Harry and Jane's Family

Harry John married Catherine, I cannot find any children and they seem to be living apart by 1881.

Edmund Morris I believe died young.

Eleanor (b1842) had an illegitimate son William Henry, then she married John ORDER. William Henry took the surname ORDER as a child but reverted back to EASTERBROOK when he married.

Fanny Mary married Francis DELAMAINE. Francis also had a son born before he married Fanny.

James Matthew married Frances Sophia CROOK and had 11 children.

I have no more information on Elizabeth Jane, George Edmund, or Mathew (Mathew probably died young).

Peter is the son of John and Frances of Newton Saint Cyres near Exeter in Devon.

Son Samuel moved to Lambeth where his youngest child and his grandchildren were born.

Thomas Ford EASTERBROOK and Charlotte BAILEY of Hampstead and St Pancras

Thomas was a Tea Merchant and grandson of John and Frances of Exeter.

The family moved to Edinburgh, Scotland in the mid 1860s. Thomas was back in London in 1881 with sons Sidney and Frank, and in 1891 as a widower with 4 of the children.

The younger children remained in London although in 1901 I can only find Frank, who was married, and Ronald who is not. The older children settled in Scotland.

In 1891 Thomas has his sister Emily with him, but the only census they appear together is 1841 with Eliza, probably an older sister, and George, probably their father.
